Why post-WTC whys?

Why post-WTC whys?

Why was the U.S attacked?

Why were four commercial planes loaded with innocent passengers hijacked and was crashed? Why three of these planes crashed into the world trade centre buildings and to Pentagon? Why destroy the buildings, which are the economic, military centres of U.S. National Icons/Interests? Why kill so many people? Why did people die while trying to contain the damage and save lives? Why happen just south of the border? Why were the Americans targeted? Why was America under attacked?

Why isn’t this the first attack on U.S. on ‘peace time’? Why were U.S. soldiers attacked, killed, and left naked in the mud during the ‘peace’ mission in Somalia, 1992? Why was the World Trade Center bombed, killing 6, and injuring more than a thousand in 1993? Why was a U.S. military training facility bombed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, killed five U.S. servicemen? Why was an apartment housing U.S. servicemen bombed in Saudi Arabia, killing at least 19 U.S. servicemen in 1996? Why was the U.S. embassies bombed in Kenya and Tanzania in which 224 people, including 12 Americans where killed, in 1998? Why was the U.S. naval destroyer U.S.S. Cole attacked by a explosives-loaded speedboat, killing 17 U.S. soldiers in Yemen, in 2000?

Why is the U.S. considered the most powerful nation on earth? Why is U.S a leading military (NATO), ecnomic (G7, WTO, APEC, NAFTA, OAS), political (UN), cultural (democracy, entertainment/hollywood, media), technological (NASA, Microsoft) power of the world? Why are these powers having an effect and controling our lives, at least to some degree? Why did the Philippines allow a U.S military base on its soil? Why do Japan, Saudi Arabia, Spain, and others have U.S. military base on their land? Why almost half of Canadian businesses are American-owned? Why is the U.S. allowed to break treaties-Kyoto Global Climate Change, and Anti-Ballistic Missile?

Why do some people look up to the U.S.? Why do some people envy the U.S.? Why are some people ignorant about U.S.? Why are some people afraid of the U.S. might? Why are some people hostile to U.S. policies? Why do some people hate the U.S.? Why do some people want to destroy the U.S.? Why are some people so extremely radical, will do anything in their twisted mind to cause mass fear through terrorism, and mass murder of innocent American lives?

Why are the anti-U.S. terrorist suspects/criminals almost exclusively Middle-Eastern/Arabian, Muslims/Islamic? Why are these radical ‘Muslims’ sacrificing their lives to kill the ‘enemies of Allah’, radically believing they’re gonna be heroes, martyrs and will have a higher staion in ‘paradise’. Why are they cowards, cruel, sadists, babaric, killing innocent and defeceless lives? Why are they always declaring Jihad (holy war) against every simple element of non-traditional/primitive Muslim men-made laws (sharia)? Why is it ‘holy’ to murder innocent lives? Why are they above the law, above human rights and freedom? Why are they making themselves gods, which is against Allah, while treating their own people like dirt and scum? Why are most people in anti-U.S. protests in Pakistan and fghanistan, men? Why were the Palestinians happy, celebrating, and jumping with joy in the streets when they heard about the miserable disaster of the World Trade Center attack and thousands of innocent lives lost? Why do they have to be so different, in a bad and evil way? Why is there something terribly wrong with these people? Why are they desensitized by their everyday miseries, are more desensitized by the miseries of the Americans?

Why is Islam a religion of tolerance? Why was it written in the koran, “if you kill one soul, you kill all of humanity?” Why was it written in the koran with Mohammad the prophet’s words, “who ever persecute the dhimmi (non-Muslims) can assure that I’ll be his persecutor before Allah”? Why are the Muslims tolerating violence, ill-treatment, especially against non-Muslims, especially in a Muslim majority countries? Why was the pre-Islamic 15th century Bamiyan Giant Buddhas, sacred to the Buddhists, in Afghanistan blasted to rubbles and dusts? Why is that most conflicts in the world have Muslim-connections, or Muslim-initiated? Why do the Muslims want independence if they are minorities in a nation? Why do they declare war (Jihad), and take over the other part if they are at least half of the population in a territory? Why do they fight fellow Muslims to prove that they are better Muslims than other Muslims in Afghanistan (Taliban Pushtun Muslims vs United Front Tajik Muslims), in Middle East (Iraqi Sunni Muslims vs Iranian Shiite Muslims), South Asia (Pakistani Muslims vs Bangladeshi Muslims)?

Why does president Bush have fallacies? Why did he declare the 1st war of the 21st century? Why is he trying to fight the invisible/ghosts? Why is it that terrorists are already within America? Why did he say “Either you’re with us, or with the terrorists”? Why does that sound like “it’s my way or the high-way?” Why did Bush say “Mexico is U.S. best friend” just before the WTC attack, and then just a couple of days ago, September 20, in an address of joint session of Congress in Washington he said “America has no truer friend than Great Britain”? Why does he have so many ‘best’ friends? Why didn’t he mention Canada (no thanks) a single bit in his speech? Why didn’t he appreciate Canada’s support and help in the crisis? Why was Canada taken for granted?

Why does the terrorist only understand the language of Terror? Why do we have to respond in the only language that they want to understand, which is WAR? Why do we beat the enemy by becoming the enemy? Why are we contributing 12 to 18 CF18 Fighter-Bombers, 350 Joint Task Force 2 commandos, 2 naval battle groups with frigates, destroyers, and subs, an air-transport squadron, an army brigade of 6000 troops, with three battalions of infantry, an armoured regiment, artillery, engineers, signals, and other services? Why do we have to choose sides? Why are we so divided on this issue? Why is there a rush for war? Why can’t we choose peace?

Why is Islam being slapped on the face? Why are Muslims being beaten-up and harassed all across North America and around the world? Why is this happening in Scarborough? Why is this happening in Canada? Why do I have Muslim co-workers and classmates? Why do I have a Palestinian friend? Why do I have a co-worker ‘joking’ that he is a relative of Osama Bin Laden? Why is this not funny? Why are there innocent Muslims? Why are there good Muslims? Why are the good Muslims suffering from guilt and backlash? Why don’t the good Muslims speak out, and do something about the wrong-doings of their fellow ‘Muslims’, more? Why are the good Muslims losing ground? Why was the Oklahoma bombing initially blamed on Muslims and Arabs? Why is Timothy McVeigh, the one who bombed the Oklahoma federal building in 1995, killing 168 people, including 17 children, a White ‘Catholic’ Man? Why are we all victims of these terrorism? Why are Mosques, arab/muslim owned businesses/houses firegunned, firebombed, sabotaged? Why are Hindu and Sikh temples fire-bombed, without being connected with the attack? Why are the Hindus and Sikhs wrongly blamed for the terrorist WTC attack? Why are entire race and religion being blamed for these atrocities? Why are hate-mongers on the rise, taking full advantage of the messy situation to cause incite troubles than there already are? Why are the police and guarding the Mosques, Muslim place of worship for security? Why is there a threat on a place of worship?

Why is Canada a luxurious club for terrorists and criminals? Why is Canada lax on illigal/criminal immigrants? Why are they not caught and brought to justice or deported? Why was Canada used as one of the staging-grounds for terrorist attacks against the U.S.?

Why do people become superstitious about these events? Why do some people believe in Nostradamus’ prophesies (of doom)? Why are people demonizing/worshipping Nostradamus? Why are Nostradamus’ propesies ‘happen’ half the time? Why are the prophesies ambiguous? Why are some people so gullible? Why is the End of the World so intriguing? Why worry about The END? Why are some people pessimistic? Why don’t we just trust God, be good, enjoy life and live it to the fullest?

Why is terrorism also a reality everyday around the world? Why does the U.S. WTC attack have the biggest media coverage? Why are we so glued to the live TV news broadcasts of the events? Why are we expecting more to come? Why are we fascinated with what the U.S. will want to do next? Why are we interested in knowing how U.S. power and leadership will influence the upcoming ‘actions’? Why is Canada an important and effective ally and follower? Why is war a great possibility? Why can there be casaulties of War? Why are we afraid, sad to be separated from our love ones by war?

Why do we pity the children? Why did our kids lose their innocence just knowing that terrible things happen, and the world is an extremely more dangerous place to live in? Why is the economy slumping down? Why do we worry about job loss? Why do we worry about the next promotion, when someone around the world is worrying where to get next bite of food to eat? Why is our world not the same anymore?

Why do I have to excel in school? Why do I have to work hard? Why do I have to love myself? Why do I love my family? Why are friends so dear to me? Why do I care about people? Why am I still searching? Why don ’t I have more time? Why am I so busy? Why do I have my own business to take care of Why do I sometimes fail?

Why do I have high hope for the future? Why do I pray for peace and prosperity? Why do I pray “God have mercy on us all” ?

Why?

Matthew 28:16-20 (The Commissioning of the Disciples)

16. Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them.
17. When they saw him, they worshipped him; but some doubted.
18. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
19. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20. And teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always to the end of age, (Amen).”

Matthew 18:21-22 (Forgiveness)

21. Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?”
22. Jesus said to him, “Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times.”
